Floating Classroom Camps with Save The River offer students the opportunity to observe the St. Lawrence and learn about the River’s ecology during the summer.
The 2025 Camp dates are below. The cost is $10 per student, and registration is required. All camps are from 9 AM to 3:30 PM and are limited to 34 students. Students must bring their own lunch. Drop-off and pick-up locations vary, and check-in begins at 8:30 AM.

Antique Boat Museum | August 14
Join STR at the Antique Boat Museum for a day of boat and fishing activities. Students will have the opportunity to ride Zipper and rotate through game design for students in 1st – 5th Grade.
Check-in and pick-up is at the ABM in Clayton.

MAC Nature Center | August 4
This Floating Classroom camp is geared towards older students. At the Minna Anthony Common Nature Center on Wellesley Island, Save The River and SLELO PRISM will host activities and presentations about the ecology of the Upper St. Lawrence River and the challenges it faces.
Check-in is at 8:30 AM at Clayton Island Tours. Pick-up is at the MACNC on Wellesley Island at 3:30 PM.
