As a fourth generation River rat Sheila spent her childhood summers along the River in Thousand Island Park where a deep connection to the Thousand Islands took root. In 2014 she and her husband, Don, made that connection permanent by relocating to Wellesley Island full-time embracing the lifestyle and natural beauty that had long felt like home.
Whether on the River or along its shores Sheila finds joy, peace, and purpose in the River’s rhythms. She especially loves walking her chocolate lab (Crosby) at Minna Anthony Common Nature Center and spending time with Don & Crosby on their dock in Lake of the Isles.
After a 30-year career that included media, marketing, and sales support leadership Sheila is thrilled to be part of the team fostering the mission of Save The River.
