Bridget Wright has been a member of the Save The River staff since 2010 and has been involved in many of its advocacy, research, stewardship, and development programs since their inception. After earning her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois, Bridget worked in Business Development and Marketing in Chicago before relocating permanently in 2006 to Thousand Island Park (where her family history is deeply rooted), and to the River she calls home. Bridget’s 16-year tenure has included efforts towards growing Save The River’s membership and development goals, water quality programming, and advocacy initiatives. As Executive Director, she oversees all operations of the organization, guiding Save The River in the implementation and management of its programs while advocating for the St. Lawrence River and the community it supports.
